Guest guest
3 years ago I had all my amalgams removed (12 in all), properly done by a mercury-free dentist that used all the precautions. Now I find out that the composits (3M Filtek P60) he used contain Bisphenol A which has been found to be an indocrine disrupter. Although I am reading that dental exposure to Bisphenol A is acute, meaning during the 1st 24 hours after placement, and not chronic, (at least from those that admit there is a problem), I am still wondering if I have traded one continual toxic problem for another? Many composits, I am learning, do contain Bisphenol A. This has me grately worried if I will eventually have a problem with this. Does anyone else have experience with these composits or know more about this? Should I think about having these removed????? If that's the case, not to mention the expense, what a waste I went through 3 years ago. I am really concerned about this. Thanks. V
