TSH...1.23....0.40-5.80

fT4...1.0....0.6-1.2

fT3...2.8....2.4-3.9

UGH have they further lowered th eranges? Used to be the free T4 was topped at

1.8 adn I prefer to see 1.4 on labs. And the T3 top of range should be 4.2 and I

liek to see people reach at least 4.2. Hs TSH is showing hypo still.. Is he on

any thyroid meds? If not he should be. But it is unlikely these will convince

most endo's to start him on them. I do nto see a conversion problem, just low

thyroid.

Thanks Val, I appreciate your help.....no he is not on any thyroid

meds. Should I start him if the endo won't? Of course his outside

doc would probably go along with it...I have some Armour that I am

not using at the moment cause on T3, they are 60mg. If I start what

would I start him on?

Yes, his T3 is low while the TSH is rising. I will let comment on

the beta blockers since that is out of my area.

Reverse T3 is not back yet.....

Is there anything from these tests that I can use when we see the

Endo this Monday??? To me it looks as if he is not making enough T3,

which means the higher T4 is being blocked??? He takes Coreg which

is a beta blocker along with Lisinopril. Should I talk to the Endol

about changing it like I did???? Need all the info I can get so we

will be ready for this Endo that we know nothing about. I am praying

that his mind will be open......God could change him....

Stress dosing keep s th eadrneal s covered when you use extra cortisol.

It takes ALOT more cortils to do heacy work, exercise and to fight off

an illness. Thsi si why we take more so the adrneals don;t return to

struggling to keep up in the face of a demand for more cortiosl.
