Guest guest
Much appreciated, , I'll try it. juicer --. Anyone know of a good juicer brand? > > I just bought an Omega 8005 juicer I bought it in Toronto at the big carrot http://www.thebigcarrot.ca/departments/appliances%20revised.htm I adore it.. I had had a cheap centrifuge type before , and just wish I had invested in this one a long time ago.. This model is the best as it does not destroy the enzymes etc with high heat.. It is easy to clean { which is why I chose this as opposed to the other called the Green Star, } The other model the Champion does not do green leafy vegetables.. The omega does greens VERY well.. I am juicing the greens, like kale, celery, chard from my garden , YOu have to cut up the vegis as the feeding tube is small--- but that seems like such as small sacrifice for the goodness of the juice you get.. Guest guest
A lot depends on what you intend to juice. The ones that do carrots and such well tend not to do a good job with green leafy veggies, and vice versa. Dean juicer --. Guest guest
i love my breville fountain elite. i had a champion before and hate it as i had to chop everything very small and could only make a half litre before it'd clog and i'd have to clean it again. the brveille fountain elite does things whole. i put it whole apples 6 celery stalks at a time a whole cuc a whole peeled lemon and i stick some parsley in with celery and it is yum. tastes like green lemonade. i got it for 379 US shipped. monique

There is the green power juicer which takes out more juice but is a couple hundred dollars more and harder to clean.. The problem with centrifugal juicers is that it heats up the juice a bit and you lose the enzyme The Gerson institute which treats chronic illness with juice fasting recommends you avoid these centrifugal juicers and you stick to ones like the omega.... ..
