Guest guest
For ammonia, Alpha Ketoglutarate, from Kirkman's works well, 1 cap at each meal. Also use some of your Vitamin C in the ascorbic form. Lecithin or phosphatidylcholine, magnesium, multi B and lots of probiotics as well as small/frequent meals are recommended. Re: Problems with Excess Ammonia Check this message: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/message/6373 There is also some mention of excess ammonia in the onibasu archives.. I remember someone has used butyrate on their kid before with success. > > I am having what I believe is problems with excess ammonia in my > system. Andy says people with low manganese don't handle ammonia properly and will feel better on reduced protein. A manganese supplement is a good idea. After supplementing it for a few weeks - 5-15mg - , try increasing protein again and see if you do any better. The symptoms of high ammonia due to manganese deficiency include confusion, disorientation, malaise, neurological problems (from the HTI book, p. 119). Manganese deficiency can contribute to loss of hair colour. Too much ammonia keeps you buzzing like a bee. It is produced by bacteria, so you might have a bowel dysbiosis for hidden infection. Arginine taking in the morning will remove ammonia and give energy. Ornithine taken at night will remove ammonia and give you sleep. Do you have insomnia?
