inclusive preschools in miami?

hello everyone,

my 4 yo son has just been diagnosed with PDD-NOS. we will be moving to miami in

january, and i'm looking for advice on schools. i'm looking for advice on

private and public schools with good inclusive programs. we plan to transition

him to a mainstream classroom after a year or two. can anyone in miami dade area

recommend specific schools?

Baudhuin Pre-school(Mailman Center at NSU), but it is located in Broward County.

They have a great program and it's ran through the public education system, but

it still have the support and resources from Nova Univ.

Hi baudhin pre-school is a great school in Davie. It only has two classroom with children in the spectrum and some typical children. It would depend where your child is at and how much supports he requires. It's a great school for newly diagnosed children to learn scheduled routines, participate in preschool activities like circle time, story time, centers and more, given the supports needed. hope this is helpful. It has a great support staff from slp to Ot and behaviorist!! also gets supports from Nova which is a great resource available to their teachers. Sent from my iPhone
