Guest guest
Hi. I've been following Cutler's protocol since April 2006. It has gone very well. I started my daughter on it becuase I've had such good results. We just sent another UTM on her since we increased her ALA and she had elevated mercury excretion which we were very pleased to see. I've vere perplexed by one symptom and I was hoping some folks on this board could shed some light on it for me. Since increasing her ALA to one third her body weight she has had stomach pain. All her yeast symptoms are under conrtol except for a slight flare that occurs the thrid day of chelation and first day off round. She is on a huge aresnal of natural antifungals and probiotics. She has not had this stomach pain before even when her yeast was horrible. The pain is intermittent throughout the day occuring only whe eating or drinking (even just water). Sometimes it causes her to vomit and squating seems to help her feel better. This week I did not use any ALA hoping to give her body a break, but the pain has not subsided. I've been reaing about entercolitis, but she never has diarrhea or bloody stools. I've asked this question on two different children's chleation groups. I'm hoping that some of the adults here can share some of their experiences and thoughts. Thanks! Moneca ~~~~~~ Moneca, A remedy of organic apple cider vinegar might help. This is a natural remedy used by folks with so-called ulcers--the vinegar helps kill off the germ that is causing the ulcer. I was having some stomach issues this week, and I tried a tablespoon of it and soon was feeling better. For a child, you might want to lower the dose to a teaspoon mixed in some water. Hope this helps. BC --------------------------------- Looking for a deal? Find great prices on flights and hotels with Yahoo! FareChase. Guest guest
One thing I've not seen mentioned on this list is h. pylori infection which is, I've come to believe a huge problem, and difficult to get rid of. For about a year and a half I mysteriously lost weight, going from 185 lbs. down to about 155 at my low. All this time I was eating quite well. I would look at overweight people and wonder " how do they do it? " Gaining weight seemed impossible. My sleep also became poor. I did the 4x daily saliva hormone test, which showed my adrenals were very stressed. The ND who interpreted it for me said it was very suggestive of a chronic infection, and had me do an H. pylori stool antigen test, which was positive. The ND put me on a 3-month protocol of rainforest herbs, after which I tested negative for H. pylori. I also gained back all the weight I had lost, and started sleeping better. Guest guest
BC, I've tried this in the past to help with her yeast, but it always seemed to cause too much die-off. I'm glad you mentioned it because I might try it again in another week if I don't see improvement. Thanks, Moneca > > Hi. > I've been following Cutler's protocol since April 2006. Guest guest
Dean, Can this be caused by hg mobilization since my daughter's issues didn't start until increasing her ALA? I'll keep this in mind. Thanks, Moneca > > One thing I've not seen mentioned on this list is h. pylori infection which > is, I've come to believe a huge problem, and difficult to get rid of.
