The NMSS can provide several services to those of us with limited financial resources, including equipment, rental & food assistance, medical co-pays. (They bought my rollator for me last year.) However, be aware that there are limits to the amount of assistance. In a 12-month period, I believe the maximum $ amount they can provide is $500.Dan U dao_nguu@...

Did you know you can borrow equipment from your local National MS Society? They usually have a variety of canes, walkers as well as scooters and wheelchairs. WHEN you are ready for something like that:)

I believe the amount is different from state to state. I've heard from folks who got more than folks from other states. It's worth checking out! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. In Alberta, Canada, we have access to about $500 per year from the MS society. I do think that in extreme situations though, they can manage to offer more. In the past two years, I've used the money for equipment and I'm going to use it to send my kids to the MS day Here in Edmonton this summer.
