This is my son's second hair test following 19 rounds with dmsa/ala

on Andy's protocol over the past year. This test was done one year

to the month of his original test. His original was very toxic, the

levels actually higher than this test. He had six to the right on

his first test. Very elevated antimony, aluminum, arsenic, lead,

silver, and tin. His zinc was low in the red. The only toxic metal

that is higher than last year is antimony. All the others went down.

We have no known new exposures. As I understand it, this would be a

representation of what he is excreting. Probably due to chelation,

not actual new exposures? What are your opinions, interpretations.

I want to be sure I have not overlooked anything. You can email me.

Is there anyone that could check this test for me? I would

appreciate it.

Obviously not a normal test. If you can chelate more often, that

seems like a good idea. (Or are you doing long rounds?)

As Andy would say, you need to chelate, chelate, chelate, and

chelate some more.

Make sure you are giving enough zinc and magnesium. Taurine will

help him retain the magnesium. Can be calming too.

Don't give tyrosine or phenylalanine.

Increase in antimony could be a normal variation in hair excretion

as you chelate. Would be good to check for sources of exposure,

just to be sure. PET plastic water bottles. Water pipe solder.

Not a classic adrenal sign, but if symptoms indicate, I'd give

adrenal cortex extract or try some licorice.

Thank you . He does exhibit signs of adrenal issues. We

found that out when he got sick and could not take his adrenal

cortex for three days!

We were chelating less frequently due to the Lead. To allow for bone

leaching of Lead. At first we did every week, and then every other,

and then every third. We are now once a month. But I think when

school lets out we will do every week. He is on 50mg of zinc a day,

and 200-300 mg of mag a day. Plus everything else Andy's lists.

We have not done long rounds. It it too much on us, but if it will

help more, I would try it.

We will add taurine! We will try to find some kind of other water

bottle. We do use the clear hard plastics but still....can't take

chances.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, since this test was done after the process

of chelation began, the metals we see are excretion mainly from

chelation. Not new exposures, is this correct?? When I posted this

on MA I was told to look for new exposures. However, there aren't

any. My deduction from Andy's readings and other research was that

what is showing up is what is being excreted, likely from chelation.

We are always cautious for new exposures anyway. And this child's

exposures are no way near what they used to be.
