Hi Val,I bumped my dose of HC up to 40 mg. How long should I be on that before I start adding in the T3 again?  I would use temps as an indicator but mine are stable at 30 mg, so I'm certain they will be stable at 40 mg.

Thanks,Mike

YOu can just abotu be certain it is weak adrnelas or low ferritin when

you have a bad reaction to T3.

Yes, Mike, I had to stop t3 several times because of my adrenal situation, and

then start back on it slowly.

The first time, I couldn't ever get onto it because my doc held me at 8 Isocort

(about 12.5 HC) and never told me to take iron even though I had a ferritin of

20 (!!!), so of course I couldn't tolerate t3 with such low dose of cortisol and

low ferritin.

Next time, a new doctor insisted I had to take Armour WITH t3, which of course

kept making rt3 and crashed me again.

Third time, I crashed myself due to not stress dosing properly and had to come

off t3 so I could get the adrenals back in shape.

Fourth time, after all those years of not being optimized, I ended up with

reactivating EBV (mono) which made me so sick I couldn't take t3 because I

already had tons of adrenal stress due to the virus.

So, now, once again, I am starting over (since January) and this time finally

looks like I may be getting somewhere!

So hang in there and don't give up!!

Thanks Kathleen.I think I rushed into the cytomel too early. I have a wedding coming up that I'm the best man in, and I was hoping to be a lot better by then.  Looks like that was wishful thinking on my part.  I'll hang out a couple of weeks just on the HC and add the cytomel back in very slowly.  Thanks again for your encouragement.

Regards,Mike
