TK--- this is a personal decision depending on how you are doing and how your health is, how many you have to remove etc.. only you can decide. Some people do ok removing more at once, some need to go slower. Also, should I be > taking any kind of supplements in preparation for the removal? TK--- everything suggested, all supplements, adrenal and thyroid support if needed - charcoal right before and after removal, IV C - use all precautions, and do compatibility testing for material being put in. Guest guest
I had 1/2 of my 11 amalgams removed at one time and the other half removed a few weeks later (didn't cross the midline). This was in January 2005. I emailed Andy privately and he said that was OK. It was not painful. Removal was done by an IAOMT dentist. I did no biocompatibility testing before hand. No IVs. I actually felt euphoric afterwards; psychological freedom! My mistake was NOT DOING ANYTHING AFTERWARDS. I spent all of my time focusing on healing my son and didn't heal myself. I crashed about 5 months later. Feel much better now after a year of chelating with ALA. FYI: I agree it is a personal choice and some more fragile people might need to go much, much slower. I just wanted to relay that I did well removing mine quickly and Andy had no problem with it.
