Guest guest
Great job! Plus, I really like your incentive. Good knives are good to have. =) 's Weigh In Hi, all: I weighed in this week at 252.5--down three pounds. Yay! I know I'm miles away from my goal weight, but I decided I'm going to buy myself a set of Wustof knives when I get there. I've been lusting after them lately, probably because I cook much more now than I used to. Plus, I'm always chopping up veggies! I figure that if I get a nice set of knives I'll have them forever and every time I use them I'll remember why I have them. 297/252.5/

Guest guest
Hi, Cathy: Yes, they're VERY expensive (at least to me). Here's a link to a set I have my eye on: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/- /B00006C7H3/qid=1087505186/sr=8-13/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i13_xgl60/104- 5380267-0035909?v=glance & s=home-garden & n=507846 I hope that works. If not, you can check them out on Amazon by doing a search on Wüsthof Classic 10-Piece Knife Set with Block. They also have a set that is $1,199.99. Uh...I won't be going for that one. Let me know what you think! > > Hi, all: > > > > I weighed in this week at 252.5--down three pounds. > > > > Congratulations !!!! I'm not familiar with the > brand of knives you mentioned. Guest guest
That's amazing, congratulations. Barbra 's Weigh In Hi, everyone: I weighed in on Monday morning, and I've lost 71 pounds. I finally broke that " 70 " barrier. I barely noticed it because I've got a wonderful treat coming to me at 75 pounds lost, so I'm very fixated on that. BUT...I suddenly realized...I'VE LOST 71 POUNDS!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!

Guest guest
Unfortunately, I've done all of those things this week, pizza and all. I'm back on plan today though. I barely noticed it because I've got a wonderful treat coming to me at 75 pounds lost, so I'm very fixated on that. BUT...I suddenly realized...I'VE LOST 71 POUNDS!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! This week has been very stressful and depressing for me. In the past, I would have used the chaos as an excuse to order pizza or to eat sugary treats in excess. I'm so proud of myself that I've stayed perfectly on program through what is a very trying time for me. 297/226/150 P.S.: The wonderful treat I get at 75 pounds lost is a gorgeous Coach tote bag. I want it by Thanksgiving!
Guest guest
Good for you, Kellie! Don't let anyone move you from your goal. In the past few days, when I've felt utterly horrible, I've repeated in my head, " 71 pounds, " like a mantra. That is mine, and no matter what happens, no one can take it from me. Only I can take it from me, and I am not going to allow that to happen. Hugs, > Unfortunately, I've done all of those things this week, pizza and all. > I'm back on plan today though. >

Guest guest
CONGRATS on your loss this week, !!!!! Super for you !!!!!!! Hugs, Randie 's weigh in Yahoooooo! I lost tonight! I lost 1 1/4 lbs!!! I am so excited. I have kept a food chart, walked, and really paid attention to what I was eating! I write little notes to myself on my food chart to see each time I write something down--I try to read them and stay motivated! We had our Open House this evening and we had a guest speaker-Rita Vokes- speak to us about stress management. She spoke about how we need to manage our time. Maybe keep a calendar and a list of things that have to be done. She said it always makes her feel great to just be able to scratch off something on that list that she accomplished!!! We should all give that a try. Maybe even trying to lose weight-- we could make a list of things to do on a daily basis. 1. Wake up-- smile at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you are going to have a great day! You should pat yourself on the back. 2.drink a glass of water! 3.Stretch a little 4. go for a 10-15 minute walk 5. stretch those muscles some more. eat a hearty breakfast Etc.,Etc.,Etc. Your list doesn't have to be the same just see if it helps? She told us it takes 21 days to make a habit! Try this for 21 days and see if you can start new healthy habits!!! anyway, Have a great week! Go Team 2!
Guest guest
Well I ended up with a 1 1/2 lb. gain last night. I went to Six Flags this weekend and did NOT eat funnel cake, junk food or anything! I guess it could have been worse. Surely I'll have a loss next week. I did do alot of walking and drank lots of water. I'll be thinking of all of you this week preparing for the Crhistmas/ Holiday weekend. Try to eat healthy! I missed my meeting last night. For one thing I had a terrible headache. I had extra kids at day care since school was out and my daughter is selling El Chico cards to fund her New York/ Washington D.C. trip this summer. My brother in law called at the last minute and need $250 worth. I had to do some quick thinking and running to get them from the teacher( that left them at school Friday when they got out for break) and got them to him in time for their company Christmas party! anyway Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!! TOPS love, Ruth

Guest guest
That's the attitude to have !!!!!! The new year is right around the corner !!!!!! We (those of us who need to) can start anew and get down to business !!!!!!! We CAN do it in 2006 !!!!!!!!! Hugs, Randie 's weigh in Well I hate to report this week's weigh in but I'm glad it's the last for this year. I gained 5 lbs. All self induced. No one forced me to eat. I did not keep a food chart, and acted like I could eat and not gain. How foolish I have been. Next week is a new year and i will be 41 in January. I know I can do this. Don't give up on me yet. I hope you all had a great Holiday. TOPS hugs, Ruth
