, are you reversing? What's your rt3 and ft3 numbers? I've been pulled off of my Naturethroid for almost a month now, and I'm going nuts! But I'm going on Cytomel as soon as I get it in. If you're reversing, you don't want to take any t4 (Synthroid). I'm waiting on my ferritin levels testing to see how much Cytomel I can tolerate. I've been taking some Slow Fe until I get the Bluebonnet Iron in. All this waiting will drive ya nuts! You can order your own Cytomel if you're reversing instead of waiting on the aggravating doctors to decide to act! They should be suffering like we are.....maybe they would step it up a little!

My ferritin is low at 12, I have started IV iron infusions. I think they are helping. We stopped the synthroid because my symptoms were "hyper" but numbers are WNL. I keep telling my doctor that my low ferritin is the problem and once we fix that I can start meds again. She said I would have to be off my thyroid meds for 12 weeks? Help--I feel low thyroid already, but my symptoms are "hyper" when I take the synthroid. Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes before you can start the medications again once your Ferritin is up to 70??? I can't imagine not having any thyroid meds for much longer!!

Allelujia!!! you are right..why won't any doctors get it!!! She is trying to reverse me....I don't know what that means or what that entails..do you? Also, the low ferritin is making me have hyper symptoms which worsen on the synthroid so she pulled me off synthroid. I don't have recent numbers, but my last were RT3 of 33 and T3 of 233. I am so messed up in everyway and noone will listen to me. How will i know how much I can take of cytomel? Please help i am lostTo: RT3_T3 Sent: Fri, June 4, 2010 1:53:35 PMSubject: Re: Help, anyone..

Divide your rt3 (33) into your free t3 (233). Your ratio is 7.06, which is way low. Mine is 10.78. It's supposed to be over 20 to feel good. Check out Nick's site on rt3 and dosing and all: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ Lots of info. there! What reversing means is that your t4, or the t4 in the synthroid, etc., is converting to reverse t3 instead of the good t3 that our cells use. The rt3 clogs the t3 receptors and won't let the t3 in from what I understand. So taking ANYTHING that contains t4 (because it converts to reverse t3) is not going to help you one bit. You need to take the t3 only, as do I. But I don't have any yet, so I'm at a standstill! (If anyone takes pity on me, and would like to LOAN me some until mine comes in, I would gladly pay to

have it overnighted, and am very open to being private messaged or put it in spam). I am going nuts here! My doc is waiting on my Tuesday labs before she does anything, although she has said she was probably going to add t3 in to my regime. But geesh, I bet she has a great weekend herself...no problems....enjoying spending time with her hubby while I and others are in misery waiting on stupid lab tests! It is infuriating!

Val, correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's illegal to send your medication to someone else via mail. I don't think the feds see it as "loaning" LOL. I've personally given my daughter a prescribed pain med to me before but I'd be really careful with mailing stuff.<<Posted by: "Joan Krupicka" krupickajoan@... krupickajoanFri Jun 4, 2010 12:47 pm (PDT)Divide your rt3 (33) into your free t3 (233).
