Guest guest
There have been a couple of small studies that have shown magnesium to raise DHEA levels. The transdermal magnesium suppliers say that it only happens with the transdermal form of magnesium, but my DHEA went up from very low out of range to the low-normal in range when I optimized my magnesium with the oral form of magnesium. Magnesium is so important anyway, it is worth giving a try. I was severely magnesium deficient, and I now take 400-500 mg spread thru the day. Besides raising my DHEA, it cured a severe arrhythmia problem, restless leg syndrome, insomnia, and on my last echocardiogram I showed NO mitral valve prolapse or regurgitation which i've had since childhood! Good luck, Kate > > I never recommend DHEA until adrneals are stable and well supported, > thne it shoudl be started at no more than 5mg first thing in the AM. Guest guest
Thanks for the information! I didn´t know that it can raise DHEA. I have been taking 400-600 mg a day for the last 5 years and it has cured many of my problems. So my DHEA probably would have been lower without magnesium... > > > > I never recommend DHEA until adrneals are stable and well supported, > > thne it shoudl be started at no more than 5mg first thing in the AM.
