I am not sure what ratio this is. I don't see any evidence of adrenal or thyroid issues (unless my math is wrong which is possible). That doesn't mean you don't have problems and 4-point saliva test for cortisol and thyroid testing are good to do if you feel you have symptoms. > Also Low selenium prevents T4 from being converted in T3. (but my maths was - sorry). Dr Eck notes that the ratio's only count when they fall close to normal. Andy does not mention this. He even states that the ratio's apply in Deranged mineral transport. A cortisol saliva test would give you the information you need. With the potassium and sodium up that is an alarm response of the adrenals according to Dr Eck. Do you show signs of early Alzheimer's? I'm just wondering with that high aluminium? Dean
Guest guest
Thanks Thanks I have had my amalgams removed 2 weeks ago, as a precaution by a mercury free dentist. I have tried to cheleate with low doses of ALA and can handle that ok. Maybe i should go higher i started with 30mg throughout the day However if I am actually not mercury toxic , then chelating would be a good idea anyway to get rid of the excess Aluminium, Antimony, and Arsenic. I think the Aluminium maybe from the strong antacid medication i am currently on, as i get bad nausea in the mornings. I have just had my Free T3 and T4 results in. My Free T3 is on the low side at 4.0 (range 3.0-6.2) My Free T4 is on the mid point at 16.9 (range 12.0 to 22.0). My emotional problems (which is basically fatigue, anxiety and depression) is the main reason for finding out about this site. Do you think i may have hypothyroidism? I know it could be caused by mercury but i feel it has to be treated nevertheless. What do you think? Thanks Russ > > > > Hi all > > > > If anyone can give guidance on this Hair Test i would very much > > appreciate it, as i am very new to this. > > > > http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html > > > > Hair test no.59 > > > > I dont think I am actually mercury toxic > > > > > > That depends. Guest guest
Thanks Steph I will get Iodine added into my supplementation. I am already on selenium. My Free T3 was on the low side, 4.0 (range 3.0-6.2) and i understand this should be at the high end of the range. I had a urine test for toxic metals as well and my Lead was the only toxic metal on the high side there. Should i have a Ferritin test? Guest guest
Hi Dean. i dont show any early signs of Alzheimer's. My short term memory is not great but thats due to my fogginess more than anything. Hopefully the high Aluminium is due the the strong antacids i take. Thanks Russ > > >I am not sure what ratio this is. My Cortisol levels were good, but my DHEA-s were on the high side. I am in Stage 2 of Adrenal Fatigue but i dont want to raise my Cortisol as it is already OK (slightly high) I am hoping that acting on my hypothyroid problem may calm my adrenals down and give them a rest as they are in an alarmed state. I have been chelating with ALA 30mg no problems at all. Hopefully i can increase that dosage, and get my Aluminium and Lead down. I think my nausea issues (i only feel nauseas in the morning when waking up) is to to with my thyroid/adrenal. The thought of breakfast terrifies me LOL! It might, but Andy has said there isn't any evidence to support that. > I think my nausea issues (i only feel nauseas in the morning when > waking up) is to to with my thyroid/adrenal. The thought of breakfast > terrifies me LOL! High cortisol could lead to excess stomach acid, but if so, I would think eating (protein food) would quell the nausea. I wonder if you have some inflammation/ulceration that is being exacerbated by stomach acid. Slippery elm helped me a lot with nausea. --
