Guest guest
They should know better, and should be more compassionate and HELP you. Why not try this...DON'T enable them! Don't automatically cook, make THEM do some of or ALL of the cooking while you are sick. Take to your...YOUR...bed and stay there! They will HAVE to do it if they want to eat! ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- I'm a sicko (and a complainer) I have a rip roaring cold and I'm feeling pretty bad. Guest guest
Hi Sharon,......so sorry to hear you are ill and your 13 year old is too. :-( You probably have your own remedies you use to treat colds, but one I do is to keep vasoline or Vicks on my nostrils so they don't get so sore from blowing my nose so much. I also use DCT made from Blistix and it really works well. Its a lip moisturizer vasoline type of product. It keeps my lips from getting dried out and one day I put it on my nostrils when I had a cold and it really helped. Today someone needs to make you some CHICKEN SOUP! I think our kids get so use to us as being the chief cook and bottle washers that they don't ever think we won't continue to be that way no matter what. I know my kids were like that with me. Mom always took care of everything. I finally told them and everyone else who came to my house they were going to have to fend for themselves, and HELP us [because dad can't do it all anymore either] more. Sometimes they have to be reminded. I even have little Christian [2] helping, and his mama [Tina] makes sure he picks up his toys before they leave. I'll keep you in my prayers that this cold is short lived. and..........you came to the right place to complain. God knows you've listened to all of us plenty of times, which I am thankful for! :-) {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Hugs and love, Jackie Subject: I'm a sicko (and a complainer)To: "Group" <mserslife >Date: Saturday, March 26, 2011, 12:26 PM I have a rip roaring cold and I'm feeling pretty bad.
