The x-rays picked up that my tailbone is over to the left, but it was the MRI that picked up the bone spur (even though I'd complained for YEARS about a bony protrusion back there). If you go to an Orthopedist, they will want x-rays and MRI scans anyway. This might get things moving for you. Also, I wouldn't let anyone manipulate the tailbone without scans (just to be safe).
