Guest guest
Dear group, Do you think discovery health channel would have an interest in doing a show about, IC, vulva disorders and pfd. That is just a thought if someone wants to take it into action. Any thing to get the word out. I wish I knew about this disease 20 years ago. My only symptom was severe pain during intercourse, and could not use a tampon. I asked my gyno. about it and he had no clue because everything looked normal. So I could not have sex with my husband and I lost all sexual desire and that puts a real strain on our marriage. Most husbands would leave if they could not have sex but I have a wonderful husband. Sex is something we try not to talk about. I did not know that I had vestibulitis until I was diagnose with IC, and PFD. I am elated that I finally know what was causing it, and it was not mental and me just not having any desire. That is why we need to get the word out because there are hundreds of people suffering in silence. Guest guest
Hi, , Some of us are writing into Dr. Oz from Oprah & Friends, as he has a weekly radio program and asks for our questions. He's very positive and there's a question submission form if you google Oprah & friends and then go to his webpage off the main page. If enough of us ask him his producers might get the hint. A radio show might be easier than an entire production special and is certainly a place to start. Guest guest
I just heard from Christin Veasley of the NVA. She said the 15 minute discussion about vulvodynia ended up on the cutting room floor. Please, PLEASE, folks, contact Dr. Oz or anybody you feel might be able to shed more light on this subject. An e-mail takes ten minutes and it might make a big difference.
