Oh! My surgeon warned me of the damage that could be done during childbirth and I heard enough stories like yours when I first signed onto this group in 2001 that I decided to take my vulvar specialists advice and go for a C-Section. I have not regretted doing that. She also recomended bottle feeding because of my Lichen Sclerosis and the damage to hormones could do. I know that there are many benifits to breast feeding, but I am glad that I went the route I did. Another friend of mine (also an old patient of Dr. ons) went ahead with the breast feeding and her vulvodynia and LS returned with a vengence. It took some trial and error to find a formula my daughter liked but she is no less healthy then any other child and I dont have her in daycare.
