Guest guest
- I have been diagnosed with that, but I don't really think it means anything...all it means is that you have clitoral pain. You really need to focus on trying to figure out why because there are so many things that could be causing it (skin disorder, tight muscles, neuralgia of the nerve, infection under the hood, IC, etc.)- the whole process is very long and frustrating so you have to be patient, but eventually you'll find something that helps- for me, the thing that has helped the most is not touching it and giving it time to calm down which allows me some pain free days- I don't think any of the medicines or PT has done anything for me. I will see how the nerve blocks help. I've had this since Nov, so almost a year. --- Halpin wrote: > , > > Were you diagnosed with clitoradynia? If so, by > whom? Guest guest
I'm sorry to be so ignorant....what are the nerve blocks? Are you talking about nerve blocking pain medication? Guest guest
it's a shot that they put right into the nerve- it can contain some different things, but one of the most common is liodcaine- it numbs the nerve so the pain signal (in theory) gets stopped from being sent to the brain, thus trying to break the pain cycle. (at least, that's what i understand) --- Halpin wrote: > I'm sorry to be so ignorant....what are the nerve > blocks? Guest guest
Have you tried lyricasoma? My neurologist suggested I try it. It's a seizure medication used for pain blocking supposedly. What pain blocking meds have you tried?
