Guest guest
I believe this is a certificate to teach in a specialized area: Specialized Varying Exeptionalities is often the term used. Guest guest
I meant to add that these teachers often specialize in a subject matter. i.e. math, language, science, etc. Glenda > > I've seen this a few times in the last few days talking about school > availability. Guest guest
SVE is simply what they are calling special ed classes these days. You will see SVE classes in Middle school, and the kids that are in there can have different diagnosis, not just autism. These kids are typically not close to grade level. Guest guest
HI, it is different at each school. I think you may want to stay away from generalities. I have visited 6 middle schools and each of them were very varied. Some had more than one SVE class to help sort out the different needs. Re: What is an SVE school?
