RIGHT ON!!!!

Hey, group....

I received notification by mail this morning that Blue Cross has reversed themselves and approved up to 18 sessions of pulmonary rehab for me. When they denied it I appealed and included letters from the pulmo and cardio guys along with quotes from a couple of PF web sites stating the need for rehab along with my own letter whining and begging. And today they agreed and reversed their denial. Needless to say I am thrilled and Monday will be all over those rehab people. Lesson learned: you are your own best advocate. Go after what you need and don't ever give up!

Good news Bill! We hear over and over on this board to be our own best advocate. It pays off most times.

Bill,

That's awesome news! I hope you find rehab to be as helpful as I did.

This is also a very good reminder for the rest of us. Never take a no from the insurance company as the last word. Stand up for yourself!!!
