Guest guest
Hi Care, Sorry for the confusion. At first I thought that this was Connie's test. Your hair test meets the 4 or more in the red zone counting rule and comes very close to meeting the 11 or more in the green and white zone counting rule (depends on whether the borderline ones are counted). That means mineral transport is deranged and mercury poisoning most likely. (see Andy's hair test book www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html) Side effects with chelation confirm toxicity. When someone is poisoned the toxic metals in the hair test are often low because the mercury interfers with the body's ability to excrete mercury, including into hair. The Ca and Mg high, Na and K low indicate adrenal problems. Cravings for sugar, carbs, and salt, fatigue, brain fog, muscle aches are all symptoms consistent with adrenal problems. See the adrenal section of Andy's " Amalgam Illness " book. Try to spread Mg, vitamin C, B complex and other water soluble vitamins into 4 doses per day to increase absorption. Aim for the quantities of Mg and vitamin C that Andy suggests in his book (may help with the headaches). It sounds like you are increasing the dose of DMSA a bit fast. You want to find the dose that feels comfortable and stay at that dose for a period of time. Side effects are not always consistent from round to round and sometimes can become too much when increasing too fast. Guest guest
Hi Care, Sorry for the confusion. At first I thought that this was Connie's test. >>No problem. When I looked at the test I thought that it looked just like mine so I asked Dean to confirm. Your hair test meets the 4 or more in the red zone counting rule and comes very close to meeting the 11 or more in the green and white zone counting rule (depends on whether the borderline ones are counted). That means mineral transport is deranged and mercury poisoning most likely. (see Andy's hair test book www.noamalgam.likely. (see Andlikely Side effects with chelation confirm toxicity. When someone is poisoned the toxic metals in the hair test are often low because the mercury interfers with the body's ability to excrete mercury, including into hair. >> So even though it does not show high Mercury the other factors are what helps to determine the toxicity? I was not sure when I looked at it, confused really. The Ca and Mg high, Na and K low indicate adrenal problems. Cravings for sugar, carbs, and salt, fatigue, brain fog, muscle aches are all symptoms consistent with adrenal problems. See the adrenal section of Andy's " Amalgam Illness " book. >> I am doing that now... Try to spread Mg, vitamin C, B complex and other water soluble vitamins into 4 doses per day to increase absorption. Aim for the quantities of Mg and vitamin C that Andy suggests in his book (may help with the headaches). >> and this...which seems to help with my headaches this past weekend. It sounds like you are increasing the dose of DMSA a bit fast. You want to find the dose that feels comfortable and stay at that dose for a period of time. Side effects are not always consistent from round to round and sometimes can become too much when increasing too fast. >> I will stay at the 50 mg for awhile before upping and be patient. This has been a long road and frustration that I tend to get a little impatient when trying to correct my health. You just want to be normal that you try to rush. J >>Thanks so much for looking at my test and helping me figure out what is going on. I was sure this is what my problem was after I started trying to figure all this out for many years. care ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
