Guest guest
-----Original Message----- Hopefully one or both of these measures will be approved in Ontario this month to encourage organ donation. I couldn’t agree more on both counts! I don’t consider whatever the government can do, either major tax credits or rebates of some sort, as “paying” donors for organs. After all, “We the People” are the government (it’s the same *we* in the US or CA) and I’d have no hesitation about spending tax money saving someone’s life. I would imagine a transplant would actually save money in the long run. Kidney, liver, whatever, parts are parts and it’s the pits to need one.
