Guest guest
I am than kful that I don't have to pick any plan at this point because Eddie has insurance on me and my medicare is secondary. IF I had to pay for a plan, it would cost half of my diaability check. Guest guest
Jane Well, I was just reviewing my medical deduction for this year for my tax return. Last year it was $14,617. I estimate this year will be $14,110. Now this year does include $3200 for the lift, $500 for a chair, $225 for a reservoir and $765 for a concentrator so the normal amounts would be around $9400. My guess for next year would be (rounded to hundreds): Part B Medicare $1200 Medigap plan $2400 Part D Prescription $900 Prescription Costs $3500 (although add any additional non-generic med and it would push that to $6000) Transportation (at $0.20 per mile) $500 Maintenance on Equipment $300 (Lift, Chair, etc.) Supplies purchased on own $400 Oxygen refills while traveling $200 Glasses $900 (yes, thats my lenses) Thats over $10,000 and doesn't include hearing aids which could well be required and would add at least another $2000. > > > I am than kful that I don't have to pick any plan at this point because > Eddie has insurance on me and my medicare is secondary.
