I am a child of the Vietnam era,providence sent me to Korea which got hot in their DMZ at times.I got in on the tail end of Nam in 73,when we pulled our Hawk batteries out of their .Peace with honor.I did Desert Storm and after including Bosnia as a medic. Iraq is like deja vu again. I think these people may want freedom more.Isalute your son for going to Iraq. I mobilized but the heat got me at the rifle range and got sent home. An Iranian or Afghan... maybe. But likely not an Iraqi. I know this message will make me appear terribly unpatriotic, Kelton, but so be it. You started it, after all, and the latter part of the message was a challenge to those of us who know better, so here goes. This message you sent to the list is more than likely a total fabrication, and it is also very likely standard right wing fiction. It does fit the pattern. There is lots of crap like this going around the internet, and the easily led ditto heads always bite. Truth means nothing, so long as the message confirms a conviction. Versions of this message have been forwarded around the Internet since 2003. There is even a Canadian version with the lapel pin changed to the flag of that country. So, Kelton, if you want to thump your chest and sound patriotic, I would recommend that you should at least use the truth to do so. The truth makes a person sound so much less foolish. Glenn Beck, Savage and Hannady have call-in radio programs. Maybe you'd find other fish looking for bait there, but this bulls#!+has no place on a forum supposedly intended to discuss the science of prehospital medicine.
