Save the date!: Saturday, October 20th 2012 is the 4th Annual Halloween Festival & Horse Show Fundraiser! This year is going to be our best year yet at Sand & Spurs Equestrian Park in Pompano Beach and we expect 1,000 attendees, 50 special needs

competitors, and lots of spooky costumed kids. Hay rides, costume contests, bounce house, carnival games, and too much fun to list, so please stay tuned for more scary info! Event sponsorship is available (click here).

Click here for information on PONY SCOUTS! Pony Scouts is beginning in both Davie & Pompano Beach. Cost is $150 for 6 weeks. Call Scout Leader at for more info on this great scouting group designed for more "independent" boys and girls ages 4 and up. Learn, ride, and have good, clean FUN!

We are currently looking for local businesses and donors for two groups:Horses For Heroes Veteran Rehabilitation Program : We are requesting businesses to sponor a class of disabled veterans to ride with us in order to receive their therapeutic sessions. For only $325, you can cover the costs of a group of veterans to come from the Veterans

Administration and heal from their wounds. Click here for more information on sponsoring a Veteran Group!

Sponsor a class of Disabled Children to show off their skills during the Halloween Festival & Horse Show (click for event flyer):We are requesting sponsorship for each class which will consist of 4-6 special needs children. These children will be classed by age and ability, many who share diagnosis such as autism, cerebral palsy, and various other traumatic and developmental impairments. We want to welcome all of our new staff and board of director members! We have had the pleasure to hire many more PATH riding instructors, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists to work with our ever growing program. Also, we are happy to have added three new members to our board of directors. Welcome to the herd!
