Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Broward ESE Advisory Council is looking to form committees based upon exceptionalities/eligibility. These committees will operate under the Broward ESE Advisory Council and will meet on a regular basis to discuss systemic concerns and issues and be provided information, support and resources regarding the exceptionality that the committee represents. This is a wonderful opportunity for ESE parents to network, to have their voices heard and to report back as a committee to the ESE Advisory Council with ideas and suggestions. The creation of these committees is vital for your input to improve the level of support and services for our ESE students. The following exceptionalities are being considered for these committees. If there are other committees that parents would like to form, they would be welcomed as well: - Specific Learning Disabilities - Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities - Intellectual Disabilities - Physically Impaired - Deaf or Hard of Hearing - Visually Impaired - Speech/Language Impaired - (EBD) Emotionally Behaviorally Disturbed - Traumatic Brain Injured - Orthopedically Impaired - Hospital/Homebound - Autism - Gifted/ESE - Other Health Impaired. Please get involved……our kids need us MORE then ever.
