Guest guest Posted June 23, 2009 Report Share Posted June 23, 2009 Hi There, I've been making green smoothies for a while with OJ, spinach, blueberries, and yogurt. But my Bosch mixer still leaves the peels of the blueberries not completely pureed and my son can't stand that. But, alas, I don't have money for a Vitamix or Blendtec right now. A friend of mine recommended for people with IBS symptoms (I have celiac but am also become more " irritable " ) that juicing is the best thing to do to heal your gut. Now, my mom has a juicer that I can borrow. What do you all think? How is does juicing compare with smoothies? What are the pros and cons of both? What has given you the most relief? Thanks so much!
