He has a foundation called Jigsaw Health. It is the only place I know of that you can possibly get help with the financial costs of amalgam replacement. http://www.jigsawhealth.org/ Good Luck! To prepare for chelation - no chelation until ALL amalgam is removed from everywhere including under crowns. > 2. Very little mention is made in Dr. Cutler's book about > tinnitus. Sounds like the kind of diagnosis that makes people rightly prejudiced against alternative doctors. How was the diagnosis made? It is unusual to have more than 1 significant toxin. > I > recently had 6 exposed amalgams removed. What is the necessity of getting amalgam (if any is > actually there) out from underneath a crown? I've heard different > opinions. It appears to be necessary, people who try to chelate with amalgam under crowns generally get worse, not better. It is possible that some people do chelate safely with amalgam under crowns but this is not generally something I can estimate since they don't get the crowns pulled off just to see what is under them if there are no problems. But problems are very common, and resolve when the amalgam under crowns is removed. You want to check dental records and try to determine what is under each crown (and think about what happened when they were placed) to see if there are any you can be sure have no amalgam under them. > 2. Vinpocetine 10-20 mg 2-4 times a day, or less often manganese 5 mg daily may promote normal healthy hearing and sensation in the ears. Try one then the other. > 3. That diet and supplements can help this somewhat, but that being a human yo yo in terms of energy levels, coherence and state of mind is unfortunately part of the process. > (My doctor will not begin chelating > until all amalgam is removed, Good. The actual chelation (if done properly) is very inexpensive. Once you get going you really don't need that much doctor's services either. > 5. You found it. > I've found solid emotional support in Dr. Cutler's book alone, and > I'm grateful. Also grateful to have found this group. Most people don't even > believe me, and think I should be back on antidepressants and I > would " be myself " again. Sometimes I agree with them. There is nothing wrong with antidepressants if they help, as long as you do detox so you don't need them forever. SSRI antidepressants work better if you use inositol and/or 5 HTP, which may in fact moot the need for them. Fear is dangerous. It leads to bad decisionmaking. Be cautious about that. You don't make it clear in this post if you are male or female, but if female, do look into natural hormone balancing (e. g. Dr. Lee's hormone balancing book) to promote normal mood and energy.
