Guest guest
I am thinking about taking high dose of protease (it is suppose to mop up the mercury in the blood). I still have my amalgams in. Is this okay to do with my amalgams still in? Thanks Deb
Guest guest
> > I am thinking about taking high dose of protease (it is suppose to mop > up the mercury in the blood). TK--- this is false. protease is an enzyme to help break down food and is not a chelator. I still have my amalgams in. Is this > okay to do with my amalgams still in? TK--- as long as you take appropriate amounts with meals to help break down food it is fine - it is not a chelator of metals. Guest guest
Deb, Are you talking about protease inhibitors, these are drugs that are used for HIV, lots of side effects. Protease that is a digestive enzyme will do nothing in the way of removing mercury. There is some interesting work being done with nattokinase enzymes do not think any of it concerns mercury. If you want to use something to remove the the mercury that is circulating in the body use Activated charcoal or Benonite clay. They both absorb everything so you need to take them 2 hours before and or after eating, supplements and medication. If you get up in the middle of the night this is a great time to take a couple of Activated charcoal capsules. From: deb3857wick I am thinking about taking high dose of protease (it is suppose to mop up the mercury in the blood). I still have my amalgams in. Is this okay to do with my amalgams still in? TK-- for clarification - these will not clear circulating Hg, they are not chelators and not part of the protocol. > > They both absorb everything so you need to take > them 2 hours before and or after eating, supplements > and medication. > > If you get up in the middle of the night this is a great > time to take a couple of Activated charcoal capsules. > > > > > > From: deb3857wick > > I am thinking about taking high dose of protease (it is suppose to mop > up the mercury in the blood). Guest guest
Digestive enzymes are actually recommended to help candida. It's probably die off. Some have reported that activated charcoal will help and can be found in any health food store. Good luck, protease Does anyone know if protease can make candida worse? I started it today and my symptoms seem to be the worse they have ever been. Thanks Deb

Guest guest
Hi Deb, you can read more about enzymes at www.enzymestuff.com It's been awhile since I've looked at the site thoroughly, but I feel confident you'll find info on starting enzymes, and possible reactions to strong protease digestive enzymes. Something about peptide withdrawal symptoms seems to ring a bell with me. Good luck,
