If your child is on Medicaid call a nursing agency and ask for a PCA personal

care assistant there hours are usually 1 hour prior to you leaving and coming

home

I have used a few and have found some to be extremely helpful and others not as

helpful due to lack of training

Try PSA pediatric services of America, Integraty, or maxim I believe they might

be the only ones that take Medicaid

The process Takes awhile to get started email me if you like

not enough.

and relatives, what suggestions does anyone have so I can work and have

sufficient childcare? Is there any organizations besides respite? Also, I do

retail so my hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

I am going back to work soon, and I need childcare for my 11yr son who is on the spectrum as well as my 6 yr old daughter who is typical.

I signed up for respite but it only offers average of 10 hours a week which is not enough.

For those moms who work and do not have a sufficient support system of friends and relatives, what suggestions does anyone have so I can work and have sufficient childcare? Is there any organizations besides respite? Also, I do retail so my hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Thanks for any recommendations.
