Guest guest
Hi Hollis: I made my own boric acid suppositories. I used size 0 capsules which I think are bigger than 00 and filled them 3/4. I didn't have any problems with burning. I have dysthethic (spelling) vulvodynia dnd burn all the time, they didn't make it worse. They also didn't work for me. I still had BV and yeast while using them. I did use them too long and too often and started shedding cells. I go to also. Guest guest
Hi, Sherri. What constituted " too long " and " too often " for you? Hollis ==================== From: Shopper56@... Guest guest
Too often was using them every night. I started out filling them completely and then reduced them to about 3/4 full. I used them for about 4 months nightly without a break. I had BV and yeast infections while using them. I don't remember if I was using any antibiotics during that time. --------- Re: Yeast Arrest vs. Boric Acid Caps > > > Hi Hollis: I made my own boric acid suppositories. Guest guest
Sherri, suggested i fill them only about 1/8th to 1/4, if i remember correctly. If i do go the DYI route, i'll definitely use less rather than more. She also said to do it for two weeks. Thanks for the info. Hollis ===================== From: Shopper56@... Guest guest
Good luck with them. Even with overfiling them, I didn't have any additional burning. --------- Re: Re: Yeast Arrest vs. Boric Acid Caps > > > Too often was using them every night. Guest guest
I've used the CandaClear with no problems, but no improvement either. > > Dear Group: > > I was diagnosed with vaginal candida Krusei and, after doing quite > a bit of research on treatment options for this particular strain, > concluded that boric acid is the best approach -- and an effective > one.
