Hi Hollis:

I made my own boric acid suppositories. I used size 0 capsules which I think are bigger than 00 and filled them 3/4. I didn't have any problems with burning. I have dysthethic (spelling) vulvodynia dnd burn all the time, they didn't make it worse. They also didn't work for me. I still had BV and yeast while using them. I did use them too long and too often and started shedding cells. I go to also.

Hi, Sherri.

What constituted " too long " and " too often " for you?

Too often was using them every night. I started out filling them completely and then reduced them to about 3/4 full. I used them for about 4 months nightly without a break. I had BV and yeast infections while using them. I don't remember if I was using any antibiotics during that time.

Sherri,

suggested i fill them only about 1/8th to 1/4,

if i remember correctly. If i do go the DYI route,

i'll definitely use less rather than more. She also

said to do it for two weeks.

Thanks for the info.

Good luck with them. Even with overfiling them, I didn't have any additional burning.

I've used the CandaClear with no problems, but no improvement either.
