Guest guest
Dear Group: I was diagnosed with vaginal candida Krusei and, after doing quite a bit of research on treatment options for this particular strain, concluded that boric acid is the best approach -- and an effective one. Kellogg originally wanted me to use one of the insertable creams, but when i nixed that, due to additive concerns, she suggested Diflucan. However, many, many studies say that c. Krusei is resistant to the -azoles, so that didn't appeal to me either. is OK with me using the ba and suggested that i fill " 00 " capsules about 1/4 full to start and use for two weeks nightly. I finally got hold of some boric acid and i have the capsules, but now i'm hesitating. I've never used boric acid before and i'm really concerned about whether it will irritate my already quite irritated (probably LP) mucosa, inside and out. I'm considering ordering Yeast Arrest suppositories instead, on the theory that the addition of the healing herbs would help. When i started looking at the Rockwell site i also saw Vit A & E suppositories, which they suggest you use for healing the tissue before starting ba and also info on CandaClear suppositories, to replenish the good vaginal bacteria after finishing ba. Here are my questions: 1. Has anyone both used their DYI ba caps AND Yeast Arrest? Was the YA gentlier? 2. For those of you who have used boric acid, did you have problems with burning? How did you deal with it? 3. Has anyone used ba specifically for c. Krusei? How did it go? 4. Has anyone used CandiClear and/or the Vit. A & E supps? Thanks for any help you can give me.
