Or are basing on your symptoms? You are LUCKY you have a supportive partner...better than a lot of us here in this group! Count to ten, count your blessings, and then get a lot of paper and start reading the back postings and the files section. Yes, there is a LOT of emotional damage done by the total whacking-out of your brain chemistry..... I got help on that thru my ND through supplelments... personally, PERSONALLY [not meaning to say you have to take this too, now, ok?] I found that taking lithium orotate [the natural mineral type] has helped me emotionally the best, along with upping my potassium and others.. my chelation had done anumber on my minerals and that can make you feel/act " crazy " ....irrationally angry, inappropriate reactions to things [laughing when its not normal to, etc.], paranoid, insomnia with middle of the night anxiety.. you name it! Please take heart that YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS ... we've all had at least some of what I listed, and those are by no means a complete listing... I've beengreatly helped taking GABA, one 200 mg tablet at nite, along with 5-htp, and melatonin... try to get with a ND to help you with supplelments... gotta go for now, DA
Guest guest
It is common for mercury to affect mood in a variety of ways. There are things you can do to help deal with mood issues. The section on adrenal insufficiency starting p. 118 of Amalgam Illness may be helpful, and the section on brain function p. 124. For some people, a low sulfur diet may be helpful. Also, try reading through Andy's post below: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/message/15287 I suggest asking your partner to look over Andy's comments as well, and maybe together you can figure out what to try. Unfortunately, there is no quick way to chelate the metals out. In order to chelate effectively and efficiently you need to go slowly enough so as not to stir up more metals than you can handle (which can only exacerbate mood problems, and can potentially slow you down if you have to stop to address the problems). -- > > I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME WITH THE EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS I AM HAVING. If I had a dime for the times people told me to " snap " out of it. Mmmm hmm yea right. Second thing is what do the docs say about you? Third thing is have you gotten a hair test from DDI and interpreted? We can help you alot here if we know exactly what is going on first. There is many supportive therapies that can at least stabilize you while your figuring out your problem. First though get a DDI hair test.
