Guest guest
Hi Sandhya, I am so glad you are feeling better- in the end that is all what we are working towards. You were in very bad shape and had so many challenges being in your country and needing to travel between two homes. The rules of the SCD groups is that we do not discuss illegals on list- perhaps if people want more information they can email you off-list. I am so glad you found a new lease on life and that you have chosen to write a book! How fantastic for you. Thanks so much for the well wishes! I am feeling much better and am getting back to myself. Big hugs, Jodi

Guest guest
Dear Jodi, My deep apologies, I am very sorry, and I promise it will not happen again that I write anything illegal on SCD (it was mistakenly , not intentionally). Yes, SCD works, only the amount differs from person to person, I have strictly followed SCD for 6 months when I was serious and wish I could strictly follow it further even when I am in remission. I am reading all the mails bit by bit and cathing up with all that I missed for so long, I am always in prayers for your speedy recovery Jodi, and I am reading now that you were writing to the group even when you were hospitalized for surgery. Your contributions to the group is tremendous, it is simply unimaginable for many of us, and I admit, with the love and support of the group nothing is impossible. I am in tears of joy to get all your best wishes and blessings for the book I have started to write, the motivation is indeed Elaine (BTVC), SCD and people like you Jodi. I feel the message from God that this life is not very long, and anything can happen to anybodys life anytime , as it happend to me, and I should not delay in sharing. Today when we are in remission, life seems so amusing and precious, and hope this goes on and on and does not end . with big hugs and postive thoughts, and good night, this much for today Sandhya 3 in 1 (taking Mesalamine, Homeopathyannd Naturopathy for LC and UC) LC and UC since 1 year Subject: Re: lymphocytic colitis, I hope my story helps you !To: BTVC-SCD Date: Monday, June 8, 2009, 7:59 AM Hi Sandhya,I am so glad you are feeling better- in the end that is all what we are working towards. Guest guest
Dear Sandhya, I couldn't believe it when I opened up my email today and saw your name listed there. Welcome back! I am so glad you are in remission and that homeopathy and naturopathy have helped you. Everyone has to do what works for them--it's your body. I know how much you suffered. Honestly, I feared for your life. You had lost more than 40 lbs in one year, had untreated adrenal insufficiency and uncontrolled D. Between the inadequate medical care you had received and the lack of understanding on the part of your family, I worried when you were moving to a country where things would be worse for you , as you also reported. I am so happy to hear you are well and that you want to write a tributary biography about your mother. What a gift to her. It is truly good news we all hear today from you. I'm not surprised you couldn't tolerate the yogurt with your GERD--it is very acidic. I'm glad you are taking probiotics as we all know how important that is. Stay well, Terry
Guest guest
Hi Sandhya!! > My deep apologies, I am very sorry, and I promise it will not happen again that I write anything illegal on SCD (it was mistakenly , not intentionally). Yes, SCD works, only the amount differs from person to person, I have strictly followed SCD for 6 months when I was serious and wish I could strictly follow it further even when I am in remission. That's ok! I am not upset. Now that you know the rules, it's all good!! Suffering keeps many of us going on the diet. I have been through so much, it is just not worth it for me to stray from the diet. It sure would be nice to travel and not have to be such a fanatic! > I am reading all the mails bit by bit and cathing up with all that I missed for so long, I am always in prayers for your speedy recovery Jodi, and I am reading now that you were writing to the group even when you were hospitalized for surgery. But you are right. This is a very special community and I could not of achieved all I have without it. So many people helped me get here and I was so lost when I started. Thank you for the prayers, it's all welcomed!! > I am in tears of joy to get all your best wishes and blessings for the book I have started to write, the motivation is indeed Elaine (BTVC), SCD and people like you Jodi. I wish you much motivation, direction and for you to feel whole hearted and fullfilled from your project! I have been writing about my grandmothers life (we did a series of interviews on camera- super special) it is such an amazing thing, so I relate to you very much! > Today when we are in remission, life seems so amusing and precious, and hope this goes on and on and does not end . > with big hugs and postive thoughts, > and good night, this much for today Likewise!
