Guest guest Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 While perusing the recipes at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/scdinfo/files/Recipes%20-%20Miscellaneous/ I came across this recipe for Almond Butter, using (blanched) almond flour: Almond Butter 1 1/2 cup almond flour 1/3 cup walnuts 1 T ghee or oil 1/8 tsp salt In a large frying pan melt ghee or oil over medium low heat. When hot add almond flour and walnuts. Lower the heat slightly and cook for about 5 minutes stirring constantly till golden brown. While still warm transfer to a food processor, add salt and blend for 5 minutes or longer until smooth. Anyone tried making their own almond butter?
