My son loved the Koala School. He went there for grades 9 and half of 10. The socialization is great and there is a psychiatrist there at all times. It is a small classroom environment, or you can do it virtually. The courses are pretty difficult though so be aware of that. It costs about $8,500 per year, but I liked sending him there. You can go there and observe them. Good luck and let us know how it goes for your child. Sandy

Here's a link to McKay participating schools. I did not see the Koala School

listed by that name.

year as an alternative to crazy expensive private school in Broward. A virtual

school with socialization opportunities is paramount.

Why did you stop sending your son?

I stopped sending my son because it was getting less affordable for us. Plus we had other family issues going on. Ari was ready to go back to public school anyway. He grew a lot (physically) and he was goofing off too much at Koala. Sandy

Koala is a National chain of For-Profit private schools that offer 1:1 tutoring in addition to Virtual programs. They serve grades 3-12

If you google "Koala School Broward Florida" you can also see how families reviewed it.
