That's all will own is Dodge. I drive a 2500 mega cab now . Duramax is fast out

the whole but can't hold up. My sons both work on heavy duty trucks and they

agree. For the money and long haul Dodge.

I would like to see if I could get some feedback from you folks in regards to

the Cummins vs the Duramax in performance and duribilty and how well the front

end holds up on both of these as well fuel mileage.

Thank you,

Mascha

My experience has been just the opposite. For my money, I'll take the Duramax.

Mascha,

Call me, I have some info for you.? I will say that the older, like 2002-2006 or

so Duramax has had a problem with the harmonic balancer and pistons.? They

weren't made to hit 6000 rpms like some people drive.? The dodge has had some

really great success in the ambulance industry as of late, according to

everything I have read anyway.? But alot of it also depends on what your

comfortable with and how people drive the vehicles.? As in, do they drive them

hard constantly with hardly any rest or are they easy with them and only break

loose when they have to.
