Guest guest
Hi Just thought I'd update you on my progress. Been 10 days since I switched to a low carb, high protein diet with lots of meat, and I have dramatically improved. My temps have risen by 1', and the stress my body was feeling has gone, which means I am now lowing my hc after stress dosing fof a couple of weeks. My wind problem has gone and I no longer feel rough. Main thing is that I'm starting to gain weight again, and I feel so much better. Plus I love sausages!!! Rod > > > > Hi, > > > > A general question about food. How many people have switch to a low carb diet? I've read that a few people have here. I'm a week 7 and still finding that having any high carb food is not sitting well with me. So I'm trying to reduce my intake, and just wondered whether other had had a similar experience. Does anyone know why this is? > > > > Rod > > >
Guest guest
Hi, I follow a low carb diet because of candida, the only sweet I eat is almond butter but I miss fruits. A bad diet is very stressfull for the body, 6 months ago I switch from a junk food diet (pasta...) to a mainly fruit and vegetable diet, and I sawone week later high improvments on my body. Acne cleared, flat belly... I think that when my candida will be clread I will only add fruit to my diet. Processed and sugar are poisons. Guest guest
It's great that you're feeling better. Myabe you've cut out something that you have a food sensitivity issue with - a lot of people with thyroid problems have problems with gluten which is in cereals. Just mentioning the main things that can go wrong with high protein diets are: - after a while the enzymes that digest protein get depleted -I haven't worked out why yet - if you start to go downhill again, add in some protein digesting enzymes. - some people need carbs to get tryptophan into the brain to make serotonin - these people can get really depressed on a high protein/low carb diet.
