Good afternoon everyone,I am all for signing petition for camera in ESE classrooms.....but there is big challenges with this....more then adding cameras in classrooms.This has been part of my discussion a lot in the last couple of months....and trying to find out how to make it possible. We are going against big challenges with this. The funding for this....i can't see the district just being able to cover the cost....when they can't do the maintenance on what they already have. We have the issue with the teachers union. The privacy issue is another one.....but most important....we need A LOT of people. We would need to reach out to ALL the districts in Florida.We need to do research on how the other states did manage to make it

happened.So a lot of work needs to be done....for this project to be successful.....but maybe the person that started the petition have answers or a plan already in place.Can we have more details....Nathalie

I wrote to Hendrix at AutismSpeaks - shendrix@..., and she seems interested in helping us. She wrote that it's going to be a cost issue more than anything else. I would encourage parents to write to her with ideas, etc.
