Hi ,

Thanks for letting me know, it is corrected.

If you can't view it make sure you 'refresh' your browser on the hair test

page.

What have you learned from this test?

What changes have you made and how have you felt as a result?

I read the link on Aldosterone, a commonly missed hormone from the adrenals.

Have you had your levels tested along with Renin?

I think this is missed especially with those with electrolyte and blood

pressure control problems.

Thanks,

Dean

Hi Dean

Thanks for that.

I am on 30mg of Cortef and now on 4 grains of Armour.

I was actually on 3 grains of armour when these test were run, so i do

think i may have some cell resistance going on with the Free T3 as my

Free T3 blood tests were high.

I do feel better than when i started however my basal temps are still

too low, so i know i still have some way to go to get my thyroid

right, thats why i have done a blood tests for aldosterone as low

levels as well as low Cortisol (which i had) can stop the thyroid

getting into the cells.

I didnt do renin, as this was done privately and was expensive, as my

doctor obviously dismissed it. Renin will only tell you why you have

low aldosterone, so if it is low, and will then demand for a retest.

I have since learnt that i had this blood test done lying down, and it

should have been done after standing for one hour, do know if this

will effects the results?

Thanks Dean
