Guest guest
Mike's carving is beautiful. Is he from the Pacific Northwest or is his work just that style? My cousin's son (I guess that makes him a cousin too:) is a totem carver. He is from Ketchikan Alaska and he is a native carver. He is half Tlingit Indian. His name is Fred Trout. Here's just one of the many links about him:http://www.sitnews.net/0303news/030503_trout_classes.htmlBTW, Tlingit is pronounced Klink-it. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
No, he is actually a Canadian from the Mohawk tribe, raised in northern NYS, never been to the PNW that I know of, or anywhere in the West for that matter. It's just his style. He puts a huge amount of research into his work. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- One of mike's carvings (3 pics) this is deer antler ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php
