Guest guest
Have you checked adrenals and Ferritin? Thse are the usual causes of intolerance. Low temps might also be form low progesterone. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Adrenals were last checked in Jan. That is why I'm on 5,4,3,1 Isocort. I can't re-check without getting off the Isocort, right? My daily average temps have not been stable, so that would be dangerous just to quit taking the Isocort, wouldn't it? Ferritin has been consistently low for the 2 years that I have regular labs done. I started taking iron consistently in Dec when I read STTM. It usually runs in the 40's (49 10/20/09) but had dropped to 31 on 3/25/10 even after I'd been taking iron since Dec. That's when I ramped up the iron to 108 mg/day. My doc is educated on the RT3 ratio and a believer in natural thyroid, but I had to push him to put me on T3 in Dec (my ratio was 8!). I recently saw him and he was not aware of the iron connection to getting T3 to the cells. He wanted me to re-test the iron at 2 months so I guess I can do that this week.
