Guest guest
<...after starting to increase my isocort dosage my sound and light sensitivity issues are getting better but pain of loosing last two person from my life is still going on.> If you think the loss is permanent, write them off and move on-look at it as a fresh start without toxic influences from unaware but well meaning people. Keep it positive, it will speed your healing. I was told for 30 years that my hypothyroid symptoms were all in my head once doctors saw my thyroid panels, which always came up normal. My basal temperature runs at about 93.4F; it took an old surgeon to realize I was gravely ill and put me on Armour. I've been extremely light and sound sensitive most of my life. A screaming or crying baby sends me into orbit. Bright or flashing lights give me the sensation of needles in my eyes and usually trigger a dandy headache with ghost images of the lights. Unless you've experienced it you can't imagine it, so I don't even bother to bore people with my issues since they can't relate. Saves their patience and my time. I hope you can keep a positive outlook on this, you are not alone. It's easy to get trapped in your troubles, I try to keep my mind focused on finding answers, I know they are out there; my " health care " physicians don't have time to do the research for me, nor do they have the need, they get paid regardless. Be your own physician, be proactive, you'll learn a lot, things that may not always help you but will be of use to someone you know. This group seems to be well informed so vent here, discuss your issues here share info on your adrenal issues here, you'll get some sort of satisfaction. Outsiders won't care about your health in the way you want them to, I'm afraid. Good luck.
Guest guest
Light, sound and smell sensitive here and it has gotten noticeably worse over past few years, and even more pronounced since beginning Armour in August and HC this fall which I guess supports the theory that I have never yet been on enough HC to fully support my adrenals. > I've been extremely light and sound sensitive most of my life.
