Guest guest
Pica is a zinc and iron deficiency. I would also include minerals for absorption. Children who are not absorbing are looking for minerals so they chew and eat whatever they can. Chlorphyll increases iron in the hemoglobin - you can get it in a liquid in the health food store Colloidal Minerals are liquid trace minerals found in the health food store that are suspended differently than regular minerals so they don't have the sodium factor which can increase hyperactivity. Make sure your child has a good probiotic and enzymes for gastrointestinal absorption.
