Guest guest
sorry, i'm not sure how much pecan butter 2 heaping scoops of pecans would make. maybe someone else can chime in. i would start off with 2 cups of pecan butter. i'm sure a little more or less won't hurt anything. Guest guest
Maybe you could try this recipe with making your own pecan butter the first time, and then measure it, and use that amout of pre-made next time.Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa =D sorry, i'm not sure how much pecan butter 2 heaping scoops of pecans would make. maybe someone else can chime in. i would start off with 2 cups of pecan butter. i'm sure a little more or less won't hurt anything.Misty KimbleCD - no medsSCD - 16+ months> 2 heaping cups of pecan butter??? if we have it ground, already how much do we use??? not that I can eta this yet - LOL> Eileen
Guest guest
Hi ladies - The recipe calls for 8 oz. of pecans (about 2 heaping cups) - so that's pecans before they are processed into butter. From making the PB brownies from pecans, I know that 2+ cups (maybe 2-1/4 cups) of pecans makes about 1 cup of pecan butter. :-) Kathy UC since 12/05 SCD since 7/07 recovered from recent antibiotic-induced? flare > > > 2 heaping cups of pecan butter??? Probably called choco in the first place because of the color - it looks chocolatey.
