In summer, we've grilled on a gas grill and on charcoal. I wouldn't

recommend eating all your food grilled, but it sure makes a nice change

of pace!

I'm not sure what you mean by " the bags you light, " but if you

don't like the taste, there's no point in using them, no matter how fast

they are.

We use lump charcoal for grilling. I have read that charcoal briquettes usually

contain starch so I thought it was safest to avoid them. Lump charcoal may cost

a bit more but it burns very cleanly so you typically use less.
