If one does the math properly, one finds that Agave is a bit higher than reportedin sugars. It is still a sugar syrup, complete with calories and tooth decay po-tential. IF one is diabetic, this would be regarded as a high glycemic food.I have been diabetic since age 6, and I do not eat high glycemic foods.Honey and Agave have many benefits over, for example, Karo Syrup--but that does not make them particularly good for anyone. We are, I thinksugar junkies, all of us--though I myself cannot afford to take that risk--a risk which includes heart disease and liver failure.Love to you all, nP.S. Off to eat a raw carrot. . . .M.~To: MSersLife Sent: Sat, May 7, 2011 3:06:26 PMSubject: Re: sweetners
