Guest guest
Please accept my condolences, thoughts and prayers in the loss off your friend and fellow Paramedic. Few people outside of EMS ever face seeing a friend in the manner that you did. May 's memory quickly block those images from your mind and replace them with images of good times and the inevitable funny experience that a career in EMS offers. This is a good time for you and your friends to swap some war stories and laugh through the tears. Regards, Todd, B.S., J.D., EMT-P Amarillo, TX Subject: M.J. Gilbert, EMT-P To: texasems-l Date: Wednesday, March 25, 2009, 1:38 PM It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I inform the EMS Community of the passing of one of our own. On March 22nd J. Gilbert, EMT-P, Field Supervisor at Kinney County Fire Rescue, was found dead on the front porch of his home. This is a tremendous loss to our service and community, as Mike was one of the best Paramedic's I have had the pleasure of knowing, but also a great co worker, and friend. Ive been in a fog for several days now, as I remember the last time I spoke to him when he reported into work the previous week, and the last time I saw him, myself and several members of our team packaged him and carried him away from his wife..... Memorial service for Mike will be this friday, 3/27 at Funeral Home in Del Rio, Texas at 1400 hrs.... Bruce K.
