The City of Pembroke Pines Special Populations Program offers an AMAZING Spring Break Camp and other Fun-Tastic Programs!

Pre-Registration: Now through Friday, February 24 from 1:00pm.- 9:00pm. and February 25, from 9:00am-12:00pm

Pembroke Pines, FL…February 21, 2012….Registration is taking place for the City of Pembroke Pines Special Population Spring Break Camp. Camp Fee is just $125.00 for campers ages 6-13 and will be held between March 12th and the 16th. Camp fee include all camp supplies, children must bring their own snacks, lunch and drinks. Camp hours are 9:00am until 5:00pm at Rose G. Price Park , 901 NW 208 Avenue in Pembroke Pines . Camp participants must be independent in toileting, and be able to self administer medications and a minimum of ten

children are needed to hold camp.

Pre-Registration will take place through Friday, February 24 from 1:00pm.- 9:00pm. and February 25, from 9:00am-12:00pm

Camp includes crafts, sports, indoor and outdoor games, swimming and more. Payment is due at time of registration. Pre-Registration will be held: Tuesday, February 21 through Friday, February 24 from 1:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. and Saturday, February 25, from 9:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. at Rose G. The Special Population Program provides quality recreational and educational opportunities for individuals with special needs, individuals with varying disabilities, including intellectual and physical disabilities. The Spring Break program may be inclusionary, where participants are incorporated into regular programs, and may include modifications or adaptations as needed.

Current and upcoming Special Populations programs include wheelchair sports, Special Olympic Training, specialty camps, special events and educational field trips. Join in and have fun!
